Human Factors Laboratories

The Centre’s human factors laboratories encompasses consulting suites, a home environment and an observation area. Human factors laboratories simulate a clinic - hospital - home environment all under one roof.  The Centre offers a safe environment for developing experiences across many challenging and difficult areas of practice. Specific courses to address continuing education in these areas include:-

• delivering bad news
• obtaining informed consent
• managing aggressive behaviour
