Our consultancy services help reduce technical uncertainties in practice and limit financial risks associated with re-developing existing services or major hospital developments. The ability to re-engineer processes by utilising technology to reduce waste and improve safety, is a key element to our consultancies.

Australian Centre for Health Innovation consultancy expertise has included: 
  • “Wireless Services for Surgical Services”, Victorian Department of Health.
    The Centre conducted a worldwide review of wireless use in Operating Suites, developing a framework for funding submissions and evaluation; followed by a hands on workshop to explore several novel technologies.
  • Visioning and experiential demonstration of new technologies, SA Health.
    Assisting State health project teams, consultants and health services with planning and design for new hospital builds.
  • Review of Real Time Location Services (RTLS), or active Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) tracking of high value assets, WA Health.
    Infrastructure requirements, best practices and administration of the system were all explored to optimise uptake and user experience.
  • Clinical Networks ‘Workshop for Multidisciplinary Teams’(MDT’s).
    Exploring technologies available to conduct virtual team meetings from desktops and share clinical information ie. laboratory results and PACS images at the press of a button.
