The Australian Centre for Health Innovation is a simulated clinical environment providing a safe and effective way to improve communication, technical and team-based skills. The Centre meets diverse training needs ranging from technical skills development, through to advanced scenario-based activities.
Simulation is a technique that recreates all or part of a clinical experience, without exposing patients to the associated risks. Simulation education links developed and emerging skills, providing them the opportunity to assess their own contribution and performance within a team environment.
Our education team are well-recognised in their field and can deliver fully tailored courses to external groups. Interdisciplinary training and courses in Non Technical Skills of Clinical Resource Management (CRM) are of particular interest, as it promotes professional collaboration and shared insights.
