Clinical skills training encompasses a wide range of psychomotor tasks. Each skill requires knowledge and aptitude to perform. The Australian Centre for Health Innovation provides a safe simulated environment for participants to practice procedural skills such as intravenous access, airway skills, difficult intubation, and central line care on part task trainers. This helps relieve the anxiety of practicing for the first time on a real patient and gives the participants an opportunity for repetitive practice.
